Figured I would start in on the posting now before i get stuck and have to scramble to post a lot of garbage..

here's what i am starting with and some goals which seem to change every time i stumble across new threads while searching.

its a late 87 rx7, 4 piston calipers all around, 5 lug wheels, and the LSD definitely took me for a ride in front of some jehovahs witnesses on the way home.. oops? Frame is solid, no rust.

its got some body work to do, but ill take my time on that and do things right...the car wont see any snow when its mine...ever...so living in Michigan gives me about 6 months of down time this year to get it at least to semi-sweet status.

ill be doing the majority of the work myself, along with a couple family members and friends, but the goal is to locate and swap a t2 engine (s5?) and shoot for about 329-350 hp at the wheels..

start it with a question of will the current trans work for the t2? or is it necessary to get a swap with the tranny?

ill basically be a lurker around the forum but once its finished ill gladly post some pics..

 

well i was tryin to find a website on Japan2LA cause ive been reading that hes the man to talk to about getting a Turbo2 engine thats in guaranteed good shape...couldnt find one, then i couldnt pm because of only 2 posts..so heres my third then ill be sendin away a pm...wasnt really tryin to let many people in on my build until it was more underway tho =P guess everyone gets a slight leak..
