New FB Owner :D
Hi! My name is Lucas!
I went from this
1993 Miata
Rebuilt Top End
8lb flywheel
F1 Spec Clutch
Mishimoto Radiator
Rollbar
Coils
It is a fun little car. :P
And now I am picking this up on Saturday
Here's a copy/paste of the CL ad.
*motor was rebuilt (with paperwork) in 2011 at 109k the first 3k miles were real easy nothing over 4k rpm and mostly freeway miles to properly break in engine. also engine has been premixed from day one 50:1 with idemitsu premix
*It has a Rebuilt 12A ( with a racingbeat race port (intake and exhaust)
*New rotors and housings, used irons
*All new oem apex seals and springs
*93+ corner seals and springs
*New oem oil control rings
*New Mazda Gasket kit
*New waterpump and T-stat with flushed and cleaned radiator.
* Mikuni PHH44 sidedraft carb re-jetted for the 12A with K&N filter
* Holley RED adjustable fuel pump
*all new Dual msd 6AL ignition boxes with dual accel high output coils, 8mm ngk wires, ngk plugs and new cap and rotor. redline has been set at a 6600 RPM for reliability.
Let me know what you guys think!
Gonna turn it into a canyon/rally-x car :p
Always been a dream of mine to own any Rotary powered car.
First off is installing my bucket seats
Hawk Pads
Tokico Illumina shocks with RE-Speed coilover conversions
Stainless steel lines all around
Then probably a Lightweight flywheel
But mainly I'm just gonna drive the thing.
I am so excited I can't even fathom my excitement :p
Thanks guys!

Both cars look like a lot of fun. I always like the older Miata's. The newer ones are just too big. I always pass people in old Miata's in my FD and I don't think they know we have a car made by the same company at the same time!
The FB looks really clean. Haven't read much about them. I think I saw one on the road once, but I'm not sure if it was a Porsche from the same time period. Are they good rally cars? Do you plan to do anything with the engine? Are you going to turbocharge it like the later Rx-7's? It looks like it'll be a lot of fun to drive, especially with those new shocks. Where do you live that there are canyons nearby? There aren't many canyons up in Connecticut, just wooded roads.

Rhys Millen used one, so I'm assuming so :P
I'll see how I like the engine, but more than likely I'll end up doing a 13BT swap.
I live in Gilroy, CA
So I have HWY 152, Canada road, Uvas Road and a bunch of no name ones to play with :P
