PA New from Eastern Pennsylvania

Hello everyone here at RX7Club. I'm Greg, and I'm a devoted [STRIKE] obsessionist[/STRIKE] enthusiast of the rotary engine, despite not owning a rotary-powered car myself.

I happened upon this forum while looking for advice regarding purchasing a 1990 RX-7 convertible as the first car I'd own wholly by myself, as I drive my dad's 1993 Honda Del Sol Si that we love dearly, despite it being an automatic.

Still wondering if this is a good idea, but I think I can find an answer here on this forum, and seeing if I can find a different RX-7 (Not a FD) to check out and see what other options I have.

I learned to drive on a 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon (manual), of all things, and in the snow... I learned quite a lot from the thing, despite it being a rolling toaster and all.

If I do get this FC or another RX-7, I have just one plan for the car; take care of it. I'm not interested in doing autocross or any racing event, or 'ricing' a car out just for looks from the passerby. No bodykits, especially if it's an FC. Believe me, I've seen far too much of those in my area, and all just want to make you throw up. Only other thing I can think of is an Akina Speed Stars decal (from Initial D.)

Feel free to ask questions, and at some point I'll upload pictures of the Del Sol.
