NC New and clueless... but I'm just the flunkie

Hi All. I'm Renee, the wife of an FC lover, and I'm totally clueless, maybe even worse...
Hubster sat his baby aside 7 years ago because I was scared of it, thought it might make me a widow, and we were adding to our family.... (sigh) It was my fault and I know now it was bad to ask it of him. Since the kids are just about old enough not to get themselves killed if not constantly supervised, I recently suggested maybe we should start loving her up again and put her back on the road.
Already told you I was clueless about what makes cars- go, but I don't think I'll be doing much under the hood other than holding something in place or ordering searching for parts. The interior and exterior is what I'm learning about in order to be helpful.

She's an 87, and got a new Turbo II 13b ported/polished with 3 mm Apex seals about 1500 miles before she was parked.... 7 years ago. She wasn't stored properly and other than an occasional crank (not even that in the last 3 years) has sat in our carport completely ignored. We are starting with the info in the FAQ for bringing back a neglected FC, this weekend.

Will be on a quite a bit, I reckon. Have already learned a lot on here, hoping to learn a lot more. Thanks for having me.

Glad to hear that you're reviving the RX! Sounds like an awesome car. Hopefully you're husband can teach the kiddos how to work on a rotary.
