New to Club--original owner 1980 RX7
Good morning. My wife and I purchased our first new car, an 80 RX7 (S) in Columbus, OH and I have been unable to part with it! It has been stored inside a garage, but not run for almost 10 years. Looking to either restore or finally part with it and thought the forum would be a great place to connect and figure that out. Appreciate any suggestions/ideas.

I vote store it....actual one owner survivor cars for this make are going to be worth a fortune when the market finally finds them. I'm seeing more and more people searching these cars out as I approve new members.
If you do go the selling route, please read Sgt Fox rules for posting regarding exactly when you can put it up for sale.
Welcome aboard! What's the name and just why did you buy it so many years ago?

My name is Jay and the 80 RX7 was the first car my wife and I bought after we were married and just graduated college. I remember it well, we actually looked at Volkswagon Scirroco's (over $1500 more than the RX7) and (horrors) a Chevy Citation (considering practicality) that was nearly the same price. We paid just about $8,000 out the door and for the money, at the time, it just seemed to be the best sports car we could afford....drove it for many years, even ordered and added the rear seat to it when my kids were born. Basically started storing it because I had/have a company car and my wife had a car and we kind of outgrew it for a while and I knew/know it needs some suspension work. Am willing to put some money in it, trouble is finding someone out here in Columbus, OH area that can work on these. I think it would be worth it and we loved the car.

Im glad to here you are going to get it rolling down the road again.
I think it will fare better being used and maintained rather than being locked up in a garage.
Enjoy!
