New to the club. From Hawaii.

Glad to be here! I have been a long time lurker and user of this site, but just joined. I own an 85 gsl-se which I love very much.
I am looking to purchase a 20b engine to put in my car.
I am aware of the associated costs of undertaking this project, so thanks in advance.
Please contact me or tag anyone who might have a lead on an engine. Aloha.

Welcome to the forum!! Before you install a 20B in a clean original SE, check out some of the values these cars are bringing. Very clean ones are now north of $20k and up and have sold for a lot of Bring a Trailer. I mention this because your car appears to be in amazing condition.

Thanks for dropping a comment! I know these are going for big bucks on ebay etc. It's a beautiful car. I'm bummed about the limited options to increase power with the original motor.

You're not wrong about the limited options. At the end of the day its your car and your decision. You do what makes YOU happy. For me though, that one is just too nice to modify in that manner and I would keep and enjoy the car as I love them in their original form.
