New from Chicago
Hi.My name is Brian.
I am from Chicago and am thinking about getting into an rx7. I drove one a while back and it seemed like a lot of fun. I'm a little concerned about reliability given the car's age/reputation, but it would only be a weekend car.
Going to spend some time on the forum and then we'll see...

the words rx7 and reliable don't belong in the same sentence. I've never owned one, but from a lot of research, you will in one way or another have to learn the mechanics of a 13b. I myself have been wanting to buy one for a long time. Trying to raise money, I've been cutting lawns and delivering news papers, walking dogs, lemonaid stand, but have only saved about $200. Another $3000 and I may be able to purchase a roller.

Welcome Brian. I'm Ron. Knowledge is power bro absorb all the info on the rx7club and watch all your concerns wash away.....or you might just get a headache.
Either way..."the words rx7 and reliable don't belong in the same sentence" will not be to big of a concern for you since your RX7 will be a weekend car.
