NY new, but not really?

hey everyone! my name is PJ Prendergast, im 17 and i live near albany, ny. my dad and i just finished restoring my 3000gt vr4 (twin turbo ftw!), so yeah my dad has gotten me into cars BIG TIME lol i've been looking around here for a long time so i know some basic facts, but my goal for this year/summer is to get a cheap fc shell and try out my own automotive skills, and build a cheap track car (maybe some scca solo stuff, and i also wanna try drifting atleast once haha no wheres in ny really, i know that pa has a big scene though). i have technically owned a car since i was 6; 1984 pontiac t1000 (field car), so i guess im better than the average 17 year old haha oh well:

i'll have to take some more recent pictures, since these were from a few weeks ago, but you get the idea. thanks for looking!

Check out slideny.com there actually is a pretty decent scene for drifting around here, at least a growing scene.
Synapse in Glenville builds most of the drift hustle 240's. I think you should definitely build a fc drift car, I was wondering when someone around here was going to.
I'm having a friend of mine swap a TII diff in my pumpkin in the next couple weeks and putting water injection on so I can turn the boost up during my next tuning session.
I plan on trying a little drifting for fun myself. You can also check out shift518 for some local car stuff. There's even a couple skyline's around.
