New around here

Hey there, My names Matt Rose, I come from Ottawa Ontario, and I hopes of soon becoming an FD RX-7 owner! At the moment I'm currently driving a FWD Saab 9-3 Turbo, that just isn't cutting it anymore. I've been skimming the local classifieds and a lot of online ones from toronto to montreal to get a good idea what i'm looking at. Me and my dad restore old british cars so we've got all the tools and whatnot to let loose on a new project, so I don't mind buying something of a fixerupper.

I recently saw this rx-7 in my town and was just wondering what you guys think of it?

I know the owner description is extremely vague, so I emailed him and awaiting a reply.
I just had a few questions though that I would hope you guys might be able to help me out with.

The canadian market in my end seems to be saturated with 1992 FD3's ( I Believe that is the correct term) and I was just wondering, are the jdm's relatively junk compared to a north america version, and what is the reason for the 1992, because everywhere i try to look for body panels and parts etc. all the FD's are listed as 1993. Say I were to order a body kit for this car, would one from a 1993 work on it? Or do i need to find something that is jdm 1992 specific?

Sorry for all the questions here guys but this is something i want to hit full force, and I just need to be sure I know what i'm getting into.

Thanks alot,

Matt Rose

That car was mot likely made in 1992 as a 1993 model.
