New From Arkansas! 91 Rx7
I've know about this site for a while and just bought an rx7 a couple of weeks ago but it wouldn't ever let me register.. well now I finally got registered and so here I am ^_^
I bought an s5 91 Rx7 that was running when I picked it up for 400 dollars but when I tried to drive it back my heater hose cracked and my rad hose blew off so I had to tow it the rest of the way back and now I'm in the process of getting it running again, but an s5 for 400 dollars plus it came with 2 10's and an amp that I sold for half of what I got the car for I thought was a hell of a steal seeing as I've always loved rx7's!
heres some pics
the only bad thing about the exterior is a small dent

Hi, I'm also new and also in Arkansas (near LR). I just picked up an 88 vert, I paid a bit more than $400 for it, but it looks to be in much better condition. I've been down the $400-ish car road a few times myself over the years. My advice to you is to thoroughly inspect the car and figure out how much it will cost you to restore the car to a good reliable state. If this figure comes up to more than $2000, then you would be better off buying another FC in better shape, (with less miles and running and driving well etc.) and using this car a parts car to cut the cost of bringing the better car up to good condition. You could then part out this car on ebay (if you're patient and smart about it, you can make at least two grand from parting this one out - it would go a long way towards funding the overall project). RX-7s are lots of fun, but if they are worn out, they are money pits.
