Hi!
I bought my first RX (an 86GXL) back in the late 90's. I bought the NA because it would fit into racing classes, (I could have picked up a white 88 aniversary TII for 2K
)
I drove the 86 on the street,then autocrossed it (CSP and CRX's)then started tracking it/timetrialing at Limerock. As I got fast enough,i took the plunge and had John Weisberg (Berg Racing) put a full cage in it and turned it into a SCCA ITS racecar. After a few years both the car and I became competitive.Track time and the good company of the guys at Flatout Motorsports brought me along!
After the 07 season, the 86 was alittle too bent (that's racing) so last winter an 87 became my new one.
The picture is the 86 exiting the downhill turn at Limerock!
Over the years RX7 Club has been a great resource for go fast info,Its a great site!
