562Rotary

Hello my name is steven and im new to the rotary family. I just bought and 88 rx7 non turbo a few weeks ago. Since then i just started to have a problem. It looks like its flooding and will only start when the sun is out. It wont start at night. How i start in the morning is holding the gas pedal to the floor to start. runs a little ruff once it clears out it will run good. If it gets really flooded at night it will smoke like no other the next day and always can smell alot of gas when i start it up every day. I want to say the fuel pressure regulator and injectors are bad but dont get why it starts in the day but not at night. I check the fuel pressure regulator by taking the vaccum line of and it doesnt bog it stays running nice. Any thoughts can really help. Im really stumped on this one.
