Need advice
New to RX-7 world. I have always liked the rotary, and just picked up a 1993 RX-7. I don’t know anything about the car and some help would be greatly appreciated. I found some premix in the back and I know it has fc command and turbo timer. I haven’t even driven it, it’s at the mechanic getting oil change and tune up until I get my own house and can work on it myself. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks your new rx-7 brother.

First and foremost, welcome to the club. Owning an FD RX7 has been quite the journey. There’s more good days than bad, but it’s all been worth it.
First direction I’ll point you in is the “New Members Technical” thread, right below this one. This car is not for the feint hearted, and most people who buy rotary powered cars without any mechanical skills end up ruining the car, realizing how expensive it is to own, and it ends up in the market place. So with that being said, do your research.
The greatest part of being a member is this forum is the wealth of knowledge. I hardly ever have to ask a question because everything you’ll need to do to the car has already been done. Learn to use the search bar; it will become your greatest ally. Familiarize yourself with the “sticky” post; they’ll more than likely answer questions you have... or in some cases didn’t even know you had. Oh, and get yourself a good set of tools. I keep a big box in the garage and a smaller one in the car at all times.
Good luck to you!! If you’re smart and take my advice, you’ll enjoy the car for many years to come!!
