Talking My new Rx7 Efini story

Hey everyone my name is Joe, im from Cali but have moved a little due to the military. I recently left Italy and had to sell my 1991' Skyline Gts-t. I was crushed that I could not bring it back to the states. But after only a month of looking for a new ride in Montana I was driving by a dealership and saw a super clean stock 1993' silver FD. I stoped to look at it and the closer I got to it the more I fell in love, first I noticed it was RHD(which is great because I love JDM and this would help me get over the loss of the Skyline) then I noticed it was 5 speed! I instantly went to work trying to drive that baby home. He wanted over 19k for it but I talked him down to 16k. I dont think he realized it may have been worth more seeing as how it only has about 35 or 36k miles on it and it has the R1 package, TypeR FTW! Sure I paid a little more than most people do for an FD in the states but seeing how clean she is and I don't think to many more opportunities would arise to own a Right Hand Drive FD!! If anyone on rx7club.com is in the military Ive created a Group you should all join! military 7's also if you live in MT join Montana 7's Well thx for hearing my story hit me up my name is JDMefini, msg or friend me, L8T!

Nice find man. I knew a guy who was stationed in Japan and had a Skyline. He couldn't bring it back to the states either, so dont feel too bad your not the only one.

I saw a really nice Skyline a few days ago, they are definitely sweet cars. I think the FD is just as great of a design and fun to drive though, so I'm sure you'll love it!

Can't find any of these good deals anymore. It seems like people have cought on to the rotary bandwagon, and they are milking buyers for what they can. I bought my first rx7 for 1,500.00, the best.

My second for like 600.00, my third and most favorite was a T2 88, sick, deck out you name it, it had it. 2,250, poor baby burned on the freeway.

Lol thats true man, sucks bout your 88.. I think I was pretty lucky I saw the car in Montana, I know I never would have got her for 16k in California haha. Luckily everyone in Mt is all into trucks so they didnt think anything when they passed a RHD 3rd gen :p
