My JDM FD is on the way from Japan!
I had an '88 FC GXL for a few years and loved it... until my brother totaled it!
I've wanted an FD for even longer, but just couldn't really afford it... finally I'm taking the plunge - I bought one from Japan through a friend of mine who imports JDM cars. So in less than a month I'm going to get my 92 Type R with 70,000km on the clock... pretty close to stock.
So, I've been lurking around the forums for a while now, looking at a ton of pics of FDs and checking out parts and whatnot... and I figured it was about time I said hi!

are you the guy that bought the red one from ben?
show me a picture of your mazdaspeed wheels... he told me about them and I may be interested.
Ben asked me to be at the docks doing a once over of your car. Make sure everything is in top shape before handing it off to you.

Good luck man, even if it's RHD there is no way you won't enjoy such a car.
I don't know what shape it's in (new engine, what mods, or really stock?? etc) but don't hesitate to spend some money into a few reliability mods.
Some pics would be cool!!!

As for pics, I've got a few already... I'll take some better ones once it's here. And if you're going to see the car before me anyhow, you'll get a much better look at the wheels in person, the pics I have are not that great.

Sweet!!! It's amazing how the right spoiler and front bumper can change the look of this (already gorgeous looking) car.
Let us know when you have so we can have a look :o) I live in New Westminster. Always nice to talk to an FD fellow face to face.
