My Intro:

Hello Ladies & Gents!

I'm new to this site, and I wanted to introduce myself and also share a little about how I developed a passion for the RX7's and how I came to love the Rotary engines.

I must first mention that the number "7" has always been my favorite number, and is just kind of humurous in a way, how everything seemed to revolved in 7's.

I was born in "72", and when the RX"7" came on the scene I was "7" years old, it was at the age of "7" that I was walking home one day, when all of sudden I heard this humming sound coming from behind me.

For a moment I thought they were killer Bees chasing me , but when I looked back there was a caravan of about a dozen RX7's flying right by me with with their blinkers on, It was some form of RX7 Club. My yaw dropped to the ground, in my eyes these were the most exotic cars and sounds that I have ever seen and heard.

It was at that same moment that I felt deeply in love with that car, which much later came to find out what kind of car it was. It was the RX7! Ever since that day I became obsessed with obtaining that car, and finally at the age of 17 I purchase a nicely used 1979 RX7.

That car was my pride and joy! Until one day I decided to sell the car because it had an engine leak and the engine needed to be rebuild and I decided to get rid of it instead of getting it fixed. A decision later on I came to regret.

To this date I've regret ever selling the car that I first felt in love with, and after much thought I decided after 20+ years to once again get me a First Gen RX7 to re-live those precious moment of when I first fell deeply in love with the iconic RX7.

So I just recently purchased another 1979 RX7 with only 103,000 Miles, the car is now 30 years old but still drives like a dream, I'm slowly restoring it and enjoying the process.

Well, that's all folks! My apologies for being long winded.
