Thanks! So I'm assuming you're in chicago? Before I tell you what I paid for mine, what would you in your honest opinion have offered for it if you had the chance? I want to see if I got a good deal, it came with the 8.8 cobra axle?I'm not going to sit here and say i know it all about rx7s, but I'm sure hoping to learn as quick as possible... I have decided to go with an ls swap for mine.

So, having a c6 vette and buying an rx7, I have to know.

Why would you want an ls swapped rx7 over a boosted rx7, or a vette?

Mm good, question. I guess it comes down to taste.. I love how the rx7 looks, but that's just me. I'm also planning on going with twin turbo.

Turbos for LS engines, or at least for the c6z tend to be excessively expensive. I think the one I looked at was 12k for a twin setup.

But it does make a pretty stupid amount of horsepower.

I also love the rx7's looks, but I do wish it was slightly more aggressive. I'll probably be changing out the bumpers/fenders when I end up getting mine.

Good luck with the swap though, and be sure to post a build thread so everyone can follow along!

So, you never mentioned what you paid for your FD shell, only of you dont mind? Unless my old eyes missed it in here? Also if you dont mind, when you received your shell, was it complete enough where you just swap in motor, drivetrain and fueling? Or was it missing half the interior, electronics etc? I am debating if i should get a shell, or a complete FD to experience the rotary before I swap it.
