My 1st RX-7
Hey folks. I just acquired my first RX-7, an '86 with a Chevy 350. Bought it as a project for my dad and I to have some fun with. I'm a huge fan of two seat rear wheel drive sports cars having owned nice examples of some such as 240Z, 280ZX, 300ZX Turbo, Triumph Spitfire & TR6, Miata, etc...
I never really thought too much about the 2nd gen of RX-7's but since owning this one have definitely taken a liking to them! I'm definitely a fan of the rotary engine though have never even ridden in one. Maybe I'll pick up a Turbo II to go along with the V8 RX-7 at some point. I'm impressed with the stock suspensions on these cars and definitely the braking as well. I'm officially a RX-7 fan.
Pictures to come sometime soon.

Below are a couple of pics. I have a list of things I have to do to the car yet from making some kind of hood scoop, remove window tint, get some interior pieces, lots of cleaning up, etc... Overall is a pretty straight and solid car.

Nice setup, I'm in the beginning of doing the same thing to a 1988 rx7.
I already ordered the engine cradle trans crossmember, and driveshaft for this project.
I live in Northern Michigan so I have all winter to get her done.
