My 1987 RX-7 SE
Hi, I am Todd, a 37 year old Japanese classic car fan. Gran Turismo 3 is one of my favorite racing games and of course I had a built-up FC in that game. Ah, memories. Anyway, this is my first foray into owning such a vehicle. I took possession of this rust-free FC Tuesday, 5/24/16 from a local seller - an older gentleman who kept all his service records. I've been researching this model for awhile and still have much to learn. I haven't had a manual transmission in about 5 years so I need to get used to that again as well.
This is an SE / base model with sunroof, manual windows and mirrors, 113,490 miles. It was repainted in its factory color sometime in 2008.

It needs some clutch work and has an intermittent mis-fire, but it runs and drives just fine. There are a few bits of interior plastic that are cracked but most parts have been found on eBay.
I probably paid a little too much, but a car like this rarely comes up for sale in my area, and when it does, it's usually rotted out and beat to death.
My vision for the car is fix what's broken, some nicer wheels, coil-overs, and make the 13B a N/A screamer. I have no timetable for this - just going to enjoy the car as it is for this summer (after fixing the clutch of course.)
