CA MX5 to FD

Hey all!

I purchased a 1993 Red FD Touring (Red/Tan) around a year ago and have finally started to fix up all the little issues I've found. I've been very surprised coming from the MX-5 (Which I still own; 94' and 16') to find how difficult many of the OEM parts are to find as they're discontinued by Mazda, etc. I found the oem radiator brackets missing on my cheap aftermarket radiator and was lucky to find some from a salvage car. This being one of the many parts that I've been surprised are so "Rare".

In any case glad to join the forum and learn from all the experts!

Welcome!! Would love to see pictures of your cars!! Finding parts for my 1980 RX-7 Leather Sport are near next to impossible so I completely understand your frustrations.

It definitely can be frustrating but for me having a rare car is one of the reasons I love the FD and a side effect of being pretty rare is parts availbility unfortunately.

Thanks everyone!

I'll try to post a few pics as soon as I can. Can anyone tell me how many posts I have to have before I can post outside of the New Members section?

One thing I'm looking for is a set of 16-19" Mazdaspeed MS01's (Gold Preferred with center cap assemblies). Not worried about the condition just mainly that they have the center caps! In any case, I've been collecting quite a few parts for my car and can't wait to get everything put together!
