MX3 Guy, looking to get into RX7s

Known about RX7 Club for years but never joined. Been working on my V6 MX3 turbo for quite sometime and would like to eventually get into an FD.

About the car, yes, it has pistons

MX3 swapped with the 2.5L 626 V6 Solid Lifter Motor
SC61 Turbo
Tial BOV and WG
Megasquirt Full Engine Mgmt
11.9@124mph on the stock 626 motor pulled from the junkyard.

On to the pics.

When I got it, 5 years ago

Along the way

And the finished product

I'd like to learn as much about RX7s as I can as I search for a shell to get started with. Ironically I already have 2 sets of FD wheels, a hatch and seats that I've randomly acquired recently.

Thats a clean MX-3. I personally like the MX-6 myself, but thats a nice looking car. FD is also a good way to go.

Well, for now my original buyer backed out so I'm working on a built motor for the mx3. Should be in and shooting for 10s by August. But I also look for FDs on a daily basis hoping to find a good deal on a shell to start with.

I like the MX6s too, I've built many an MX6/Probe for people over the years. I originally chose the mx3 because it was lighter and I could shove a V6 in it. I'd love to buy an MX6 for an autocross project, but my driveway is only so big and I'd prefer to save space for the eventual FD purchase.
