G'day. Recently handed the keys to my old ladys series 1 RX7 which was bought new from Mornington Mazda in Melbourne back on 17/07/79. Was driven for approx 11 years until she got a new car. Was given a lick of paint and a new door skin (rust) round 1991 and has sat in the garage at there place for the last 25 years. The start of this month I dragged it out (literally, handbrake seized on etc) gave it a cut and polish, service and some new tyres and for the past week have enjoyed buzzen around in it. Some of you guys would no of Extreme Rotaries? down carrum downs way, Rohan gave the 12A a wee tickle and did the door and paint back before it went into hibernation. As far as i can tell its done 96000 K's and I know for a fact its never been in an accident. Story from my old man go's it was one of the very first white Australian rego'd RX7's in the country. Always have wanted to 13BT it but since Ive got it going again Ive realised that its prob one of a dying breed being so original and all. Just found the 10minute customer maintenace course and service coupons and manufacturers warranty book but gutted to see the manual has been lifted from the glovey. Anyway cheers all, stoked to finally have the ol girl in my name. Ill try pot some pics but im woeful on computers...
That would have been back when he was "Autostyle" with the panel beater out the back! I'm carrum downs too. Very nice little car and sweet inheritance. Its great they kept it. Welcome aboard. I'l keep an eye out for it on the road after you got all the cobwebs out after sitting so long.

Cheers champ, ive been driving it to work everyday so yeah youll see it round no doubt.
