MR2 enthusiast, thinking of joining FD club

Hi there, I havent really introduced myself as I joined this forum to buy FD RX7 stock rims for my brothers 93 MR2 Turbo.

Im from St. Louis, Im taking a 5 year hiatus from imports while I figure out what I want to do with my life, what my financial situation will be down the road as its unclear in this economy, and if I will get my dream career in law enforcement as a probation and parole officer.

I built on MR2's for years , had 4 of them, and had about one solid week of what felt like and according to other peoples similar builds, would be an 11 second car, it was quite fun and felt really good. Based on that horrible, expensive experience, and most of my other MR2's not being in the best of shape, After I have a secure financial future, Im gonna look into another MR2.

Besides, the local quartermile track closed down due to lack of funding and a poor economy so I have some time on my side before I can get my next import. I've magazine raced to see that the FD RX7 in almost every catagory seems to be a better performer than the MR2 Turbo, even a rare 95 MR2 Turbo.

WHile I get my ducks in a row, I putt around in a stock 95 miata for free, so I wanted to meet some FD owners.

With all your experience in the MR2 ( good and bad), you probably won't have enough tolerance left for the FD and all that comes with a rotary engine.
