I bought a black 84 GSL for $2200 this summer. What can I say...this is the best car I've ever driven and it's great for hauling my golden retriever on wilderness hikes.
The car has 140k miles on it. I'm hoping it doesn't need a rebuilt anytime soon though as I'm still a student so keeping it well maintained is all I'm going to do for the time being. This is my "daily driver" but it really doesn't get driven much.
I'm a total convert. My plan is to keep this car as close to original as possible (read: rotary). Sadly I got into an accident yesterday...hit a bus that stopped abruptly. The front end is pretty damaged so I'm hoping to use the forum to fix it!

Kenny U-Pull has had some RX-7s in the past if you've got the time to get there. Not really any way to know if the car is still in there without showing up, unfortunately.
