Merry Christmas fellow rotor-heads!
OK, it is another "Hi I'm new and I like my RX-7" thread... So I apologize in advance.
Hello everyone! My name is Josh Smith... Yes, I know, how more generic can I be? I currently own a Yellow '79 RX-7 and a Titanium Gray '04 RX-8. I keep it a rule to always have at least one rotary powered car in my fleet at all times. Otherwise what is the point of getting up in the morning?
The RX-8 is my daily driver and while it is a fabulous car I have to say my '79 RX-7 is my love. My wife calls it the mistress... I don't argue. The '79 has been in my family since 1980 when my mother traded a AMC Eagle for the RX-7 and $500 cash. What a trade! I inherited it in 1984 when I was born about the time I said "My car!" with as much authority as a 8-month-old could. That's when my obsession started.
Cheers and Merry Christmas everybody!
