Hey, does anyone know where I can finf a McGard lug key patent no. 4664000?

I damaged my key trying to change my winter tires, and can't seem to find it anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had to call the McGard guys and jump through some hoops to get some new keys for my '83 RX-7. Waiting on eBay and craigslist never came up with anything and the local speed shops only had the latest versions of the security bolts for early RX-7's. We Emailed back and forth a couple of times, I finally called to talk to the guy and then they set me up...now, I have the key in the car, a back-up in the tool chest and one in the house closet next to the G-17...lol

I contacted McGard and they asked me for an ID card...

I have NEVER seen an ID card for my lug key since I have my car. My car is a 2002 Acura EL...(I know this is a Mazda forum...sorry!), anyway, the lady at the customer service asked me to take a picture of the LOCK on the wheel and email it to her...I told her that I will also send her a picture of the key.

Hopefully I will get it ASAP.

Quite welcome...it's nice that they do make folk jump through hoops for the keys...there's no point in calling them security locks if any mutt can just call in and get one, right? I had to send a pic also, now that I recall that ordeal.
