Madison FD
Been lurking on the forums for a bit, finally "introducing" myself.
Recently purchased a '95 stock FD from the coast. Couldn't resist, complements the (beater) '95 MX-6 in the same color.
So far I love the car, however some "draw backs" are bugging me:
-high idle 1300-1500 rpm
-stock temp gauge
-terrible Kumho (not sure what type) tires
-minor blemishes on paint, however it is a '95
-lack of space
pros however:
-insurance rate is the same as the MX-6!!!
-interior is immaculate
-torque, torque, torque
-low miles, 51k
-first RWD, besides the motorcycle. Getting used to rainy days
Hoping to get the idle under control, however reading/searching the forums there have been some head-butt arguments on TPS, idle adjustment, and throttle cable sticking do's and don'ts. Help???
Feeling comfortable doing other typical maintenance myself; oil, coolant, brake pads. However might look into and WISCONSIN local shops, or some really good DYI write ups on the board.
Cheers,
Toe
