Hi!My name is Mike!
I am but a lowly member of the FWD Mazda crowd. I come here in the hopes that the Mazda gods will bestow upon me the blessing of compatible parts (mainly OEM FD wheels and possibly calipers) so that I may infuse the spirit of 7 into my Protege. If the gods will it, I will have a 7 among the heard in the coming years. Till then the Pro will remain my focus.

Recently returned to school to pursue a Mech Engineering degree. I'm a hands on trade guy through and through. Machinist, welder, carpenter, electrician etc, I've dabbled in most of them professionally. Hopefully I will be purchasing my own MIG/TIG setup in the coming months to do my own fab work.

Joined the forum a few years ago to pick up a set of FD wheels but never gave an intro to myself. Look forward to learning a lot.

Momma's search for a car at the Mazda dealership when I was 8 did it for me. She got the 99 Protege LX with chrome rims. Then I was playing Need For Speed with my brother and picked the mazda Rx-7. Been in love ever since. And there is definitely nothing lowly about the protege man, I love driving my moms (not as much as my 7) protege. Mazda is just where its at!!

I'd have my fb down here but I don't have a garage to store her in. You know any cost effective places to rent a garage down here?
