Low Profile Rotary Lifer
Hi fellows,
My name is Edwin from South Florida, bought my first RX when I was 17 back in 2001, a 1991 FC. The car was in rough shape and also N/A when I got it from my father in law, who lend me the money to make a complete JDM Turbo II swap and was able to pay the car and swap within a year. That's how my journey in the RX7/ rotary world started!! Thru out the years the car got upgraded engine parts, suspension, interior, new paint job, etc. Also in that process my daughter was born, as she grew older is was harder to make my wife swap cars due to the fumes, harsh clutch and also being kinda low. At that time was forced to get a new daily and opted for an Evo X..... The RX was placed in the back burner and got focused on the Evo. Have had the Evo for 6 years and basically went thru the same process as the FC, about a year ago had an opportunity to acquire a FD for a good price and now Im once again in the Rotary world. Car is not immaculate but not too bad either, making progress on it slowly but surely since I still have the other 2 to maintain and also my wife's SUV. Wasn't able to recuperate my old screen name, guess I have been out for too long....Im back again, even though I consider myself a lurker more than anything I'm excited and looking forward to share my knowledge and assist as much as possible.
