PA Looking for Some Fun...I stumbled in here...

And for once it wasn't a strip club or bar.....its this RX7 forum

On my list of dream cars has always been an FC. So I am currently in the market for one.

I currently own a 2004 Evo with a decent amount of things done. But its my daily.

Im looking to pick up a fun car, with less power, light weight, rwd & fairly inexpensive ...hence the FC interest.

I am looking at a few cars in my area (pittsburgh or PA/OH/VA/etc) for the "perfect" FC. Btw...read cheap/rust free/running.

Determining my budget has been the hardest part. Ive looked at everything from 1 owner 10th AEs (5500-10000) to faded paint rag tops (1200-2000)

So I have lots of reading to do, and look forward to learning from this community.

Thanks for having me...

WA welcome

good to see another fc fan. i myself am a new member. i am buying my fc this wednesday, may 13th. they are wonderful cars and are not short on power. i made sure that i would have one of three cars: 1989 nissan 240sx hatchback, 1988-90 toyota supra or a 1988-90 mazda rx7 turbo/non-turbo. well i found a cheap '88 rx7 for $350 that runs and everything. i did my research and im kind of scared because people say that this car is a money hog and you will constantly have to put in to it. i think that as long as you really want this car and can find decent priced parts that you will be okay. i say go for a cheaper one with a good body and solid engine. nothing extravagant.
good luck to you and im sure the car will not disappoint you.
btw. welcome to the boards.
