First off, hello!

To keep things short, I've always wanted an FD RX7 just never was the right time but now I've been given the green light from my girlfriend to buy one if I chose too.

I currently have a BMW E30 M3 which I'm hoping to trade for an FD or sell to purchase one and a E30 325is which I drive to keep the miles off the M3. I am a BMW technician/service adviser so I know how to work on my current cars but Im sure I will be asking plenty of questions on the rotary engines.

First question (Im sure its asked a lot), how much time and money would I have to invest if I were to rebuild the engine myself if need be?

Welcome! Nice Looking BMW, My Mom has a z4 its a nice car, Anyways. a rebuild kit is about 1k and time is how ever long it would take you to do it haha..
