Looking for a long lost FC non turbo.

My dad gave this car to a co-worker 10 years ago. The guy did some work on it but later traded it in under cash for clunkers. It broke my heart but I was a broke A&P student and didn't have the money to buy it. I was just wondering if it made its way back out into the world. If anyone has seen it that would be great! Thanks! Car was an 87 I believe. Non turbo, 5 speed 2 seater with a sunroof. 120k miles. Very distinctive paint job. Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas.

Having the vin would help greatly. Here's hoping that it didn't meet its end in that cash for clunkers program. That program ruined so many good cars.
