Looking for an FD RX-7
Howdy, my name is Lane and I'm from Austin, TX.
I've owned lots of cars, just not a rotary engined one -- yet. The list of interesting cars I've owned are:
2004 Subaru WRX
2007 Mazda Miata
2001 BMW M5
1984 Porsche 911
2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
My daily driver is a Jetta Sportswagen TDI since it gets mileage.
So, now that is out of the way, the reason I'm looking for a FD RX-7 is because I just sold my 911 which was a full on race car and I just couldn't take driving it on the street anymore. I've always like the FD and I missed out on buying one between high school and college and now seems about the right time to perhaps take the plunge into the turbo-charged rotary world.

Unless you're a center in the NBA, you'll fit in an FD. There are plenty of big people on these forums both very tall and very wide. Also remember that non-sunroof models have more head clearance than those with sunroofs.

The miata was a fun car to drive on the track, just a little too underpowered for my taste.
I haven't been able to find an FD w/o sunroof, then on top of that I've got to be able to fit in with a helmet and I don't think a non-sunroof car is gonna give me the few inches of additional headroom. I spent a lot of time trying to make myself fit in it comfortably.
