Long time member, first time poster, officially an FD owner

I would say I've wanted this car for about 18 years, so it's great to finally be at this point!

I've been a member of this forum for ages, but I tend to be pretty decent with the search functionality so never really had any need to create "tyre kicking" threads

Now that I've finally got an FD, I want to be more involved, so what better way than to write my first post onto the intro section.

Really looking forward to the journey.

Cheers,
Charlie

P.S. Here she is! My 2001 Mazda RX7 RB-S:

Nice purchase! From the looks of it you’re going to enjoy every mile. Super clean, well done. /Jason

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the warm welcome.

Been out for a drive on Friday night and so far definitely everything I've been looking forward to!

She's 100% stock - the drive is really tight and very responsive. It kinda complicates matters though because I always wanted to buy one and tinker/modify (that's half the fun!), but considering how uncommon/valuable a completely stock example is, I'm second guessing 😂

Anyway, will enjoy it as it is for a while! In the meantime, I'm sure I'll see you around the forum
