Long time member, couldn't recover old account
Well, I suppose it's time for a new account since I can't recover the old one. After quite a long hiatus, I'm back to tinkering with my 94 MB. I've decided to revert the partially completed 20b conversion and place the (upcoming rebuilt) 13b back in since I've moved to a place which will require a emissions and a thorough inspection. Hopefully this will end up with the car back in some sort of enjoyable/daily condition. This will be a bit of a rush job for me since I've committed to starting a new car project which gets delivered (hopefully) in early October.
Looking forward to leaning on the collective experience of the forum once again.

The car itself isn't particularly remarkable since the project was put on hold before too much got installed. It's a stock MB touring shell with a zillion miles that had a blown coolant seal. Most of my work before the pause was spent acquiring the parts, building the Megasquirt, and starting to fabricate a new front subframe that would allow me to keep the full length 20b runners. In the end, this was a waste of time and I should have kept the stock front subframe and cut the LIM. Below is the car and a couple of mock up pics while I was trying to figure things out. The engine is a D series 20b and was intended to be an easy 600ish rwhp fed on pump gas and stock ports. The 20b rebuild parts were a mix of Goopy and OEM seals, stock primaries with 1600cc secondaries, and a fresh thin iron/rotor housing since the original one lost an apex seal. The turbo there is (supposedly) a BW S400SX3. It was delivered in a Borg box with the shipping label ripped out and doesn't have any Borg trademarks on the casting, so I think it's a clone/ebay garbage. I'm still a bit peeved about that situation even though it was many years ago.
