What to say, what to say..........


Well, I've owned my FC for several years now, and I'm tired of lurking so I decided to register. No particular reason, I just never got around to it. About the car, it's nothing too special, just an '86 GXL I put together to go racing on the weekends. I'll go ahead and put my flame suit on and say it's no longer rotary powered, but now a carb'd small block mopar. I know what you're thinking. Why mopar? Why not an LSx? That's easy, I had the motor left over from another project, so I just went with what I had. Nothing less, nothing more. It's backed by a gm 2004r and an 8.8 IRS so it's a pretty good combo that runs consistent high 11's. It's fun.

looks like a handful! my dad has an FC with an LT1 which is great fun.

 

The v8 definitely turns it into a different car, that's for sure. I do admit it doesn't "feel" like an rx7 anymore if that makes any sense.

 

ever weigh it now with the v8?
