living the dream...
I'd like to say hello to all rotary enthusiasts, it's a pleasure that I can't describe to finally be apart of a community I've been wanting to be apart of for so long! I just got my first car today, a 1987 Mazda RX-7. I'm as old as the car and have been wanting to own this car for years. I bought it in sorta rare condition, that being that the mileage on it was only 88,000, had a clean body, and it has a clean smog record.
It needs some maintenance soon, because i'm worried about the alignment, it veers to the right easily, so i want to get that taken care of , and also the electrical stuff too, the sunroof won't open, the domelights don't work, my door and hatch light are on when ther car's on and the doors are closed, and there's no radio in it, not that I didn't know it was like that before, but I want to get things in order with the car by the time the engine breaks down! jk,jk! But I need some advice, I got a Haynes manual that I'm rushing through to find answers about what grade oil and gasoline I can put into my 87 non-turbo FC3S.
So any insight you can offer me is greatly accepted, I'm in the Automotive program at my school to become a certified mechanic and I love drifting, wanna be apart of that scene some day, but not until I get past the maintenance part first. NICE TO MEET ALL OF YOU!
