Let me introduce myself
Hello my name is Dave and I am a car addict. There I said it.
I am joining this group to try and learn more about a car I hope to own and build soon. For the past several years I have been working on various porsches and currently own a 1984 911 cabriolet with a removable hard top. I have done all the work on the car myself including body, engine and transmission. Though I like the 911 I remain impressed with performance of the RX7.
I did purchase a 2007 RX8 and have been driving it for the last couple of years but my son is moving to Portland and the car is going with him. It was a great track car but was lacking in power compared to what I am used to in the porsche.
I think it is time to start looking for an RX7 but I don't know much about the cars. I do know all cars have their various quirks, things that work well and things to watch out for. So that is my goal to learn more about the RX7 in particular the 93-94 model years.
