CA Just joined rx7club

Hello everyone, I am a new member of rx7club. I don't own any rotary-powered car currently. I have been, however, studying up on the engines of the RX7 and RX8 as well as the unique characteristics of the cars in general. I feel being a member of this board will give me more insight into the Mazda rotary world than just from the FAQs alone.

All of the RX-7s look gorgeous, though the FD gets the most of my attention than the FB or the FC, I'll admit.

Nonetheless, I hope to learn a lot more from my being a member of this great community for RX7 enthusiasts, rx7club.

Well If the FD or FC are done right they both look exceptional but I too must admit I drool over the FD, Looking to get one to sit next to my FC.

Hello

Welcome to RX7Club

3rd Gen forum are filled with rich bastards or kids with rich bastard parents
2nd Gen forum are filled with know it all self proclaimed mechanics
1st Gen forum, well who cares about the first gen?

But really, there are great helpful people here that could teach you how to spend money to fix your broken down car...
Or put ideas in your head so you can spend all your money modifying it!
And they will be around to help you too

It is a love and hate relationship with this board - as you will soon learn.

There are ******** here tho. There will be people that you hate that you wish the mods would ban too. Can you guess who?

IMO, the FC are where you will find the most extreme case of stupidity and ingenuity. Some of the **** people do to keep that thing running... or the **** they do to kill it. I am a FC owner myself and hope you would join.

Over time, as you get older and own a few RX-7, you will probably regret it because you spend alot of money and you would of had such a sick *** motherfucking wow character if you just played warcraft...

Or you would have gotten laid too if not for your FC flooding and pulling EGI fuse just dont cut it anymore!

If you're gonna own an RX7 make it powerful enough to justify the horrible gas mileage and keep the haters in the rear view mirror. God help you if you own a slow NA RX7 cause you will get no respect from guys like ^ and no amount of drastic weight-savings or painted pulleys will change this.

I owned 3 NA FC's and trying to make them respectable was like adopting an crack baby from the ghetto it takes a LOT of money to make something out of it.

Welcome to RX7 club *whispers* do not mention Hillary Duff or mexicans to this ^ ever.

Except for the part about the first gen. Just know if there were no first gen where would of the 2nd gen came from. first gens my favorite btw but fc's, and fd's are slick. I'll get a T2 when I can afford a nice one, But my FB makes sure I stay straped for cash. Jellous I think.

Also I think po isn't looking to buy, but to learn about the rotary engine. But once he falls in love with it he'll get one. Awsome part of owning one is you don't need to buy expencive colones anymore. You'll just smell like gas and exaust fuems.

Also you can pick up females with an rx, Just look for the ones with paint on there nose. jk.

Well, I have already fell in love with the 8. If there is a way to make $35k appear out of thin air and land gently in front of my laptop monitor, I'd go to my nearest Mazda dealer and pick up an 8 without hesitation. Fact being that I'm currently a college student makes me cash-strapped for basically anything, so my hopes and dreams of owning and working a rotary car will have to remain in my mind for some duration.

I would consider picking up an FC or FD in good condition once I have a steady flow of income established.

New to this club. This website seems a little convoluted and difficult to maneuver around in, or is it just me? I grew up with a pen and paper and an abacus after all.
any help would be greatful.

rarengr,

Welcome aboard! The message board system here is quite complex, as there are more features and add-ons on here than in other websites sporting different types of message boards. So I'll say no, it's not you. You seem to be getting around well from the posts you've made so far, so I'd suggest to keep doing whatever it is that you're doing, and all will be well.

I got my 8 for half that! The 04's and 05's have really come down in price, and buying new would really screw yourself over in depreciation. But would definitely be nice

Anyways I hope you get whatever rotary you love, I'm in the process of possibly selling my 8 to get a 7, or rotary miata...i would love that so much!
