TX just bought 1987 Rx7 GXL

This forum seems like the perfect location to gather a better understanding of this car and the rotary. the FC I'm purchasing doesn't quite run yet but isn't far from it, so I'm told. Bought it as a new drift project to fill the void left behind from selling my LS1 R32 Skyline awhile back . Currently living in San Antonio Tx and looking forward to learning from you all. Thank you very much

I used to race against an 87 just like yours back in the early 2000s. He used to mop the floor with me, good luck!

Why thank you and sorry to hear that. I think I have a decent idea of what I need to do to get her up and running.

It will be quite a different car to drive than your Skyline. Keep the revs up and your right foot down!

Hell yea. That's what killed the 1jz and the ls1. Trust me I don't have any problem revving the crap out of an engine.
