Joe from AZ
Realized I hadn't posted an introduction yet.
I'm Joe, I'm originally from CA but I've lived in AZ for the past 10 years or so.
My car is a 79 GS that I bought about 2 years ago. I bought it in relatively unmolested condition so I could build it up the way I wanted. I have been mechanically interested in rotaries for years. Picked a SA because it I wanted something small and light and it reminded me of early pony cars in its format (besides the rotary of course). It is my daily driver for the most part.
I'm slowly working on my car to improve it. So far I've replaced the springs, shocks, and bushings. I upgraded the front brakes to FB style calipers and large bearing struts. I did an S4 alternator upgrade. I just freshened up a GSL rear end/brake setup that I'm waiting for a clear weekend to install along with new (fine thread) hard lines and a GSL master cylinder/proportioning valve.
