Baby steps, my friend, baby steps...since this is the intro board, how about a name and why you got into rotaries and maybe even a bit on how you found this site? Then you can start reading up in 1stgen tech section all the things that have been done before to the much maligned 12A rotary. No need to re-invent the wheel, right?

Now tell us a story!

edit: silent too long, changing title of thread to match intro board specs...

KY Yep

I got into rotaries kinda by accident. I needed a car and i drove past my 82 (which had a for sale sign in the window)all summer . It was at a fire station so i stopped in and talked to the guy and got it cheap. Its rough a little though , got some rust here and there but it runs like a bat outta hell just stock with no emissions. My 84 i found the following summer at the local advanced auto and it was for sale. So i thought 2 good ones equal one badass one. Its in real good shape interior is great. the body is a little wrecked but not bad and it has low miles, but the suspension is crap and its slow, runs great but slow. I also used to build trans ams so i bleed pontiac also. Something about the rotary intrigues me though. just somethin about it. Cant wait to tear mine open, but i hate to take it apart if its runnin good. I just want bolt ons for now. and some wheels. i cant find any that dont need an adapter. To sum it all up im just a guy from Kentucky who loves to hotrod headbang and has a passion and fascination for the odd but powerful. How's that?

Been on vacation and I'm trying madly to catch up on all my Emails from the Forum on top of all the stuff from my long lost uncles in Nigeria who want to send me money......that was a great intro...as it turns out, I'm a Pontiac guy myself with two '68 Firebirds and a garage full of spare Pontiac parts......all this stuff just became antique now that Gov't Motors decided to kill its Pontiac division.

Hit the FAQ sticky thread of the 1stgen tech section and you'll be miles ahead blending those two cars together for one dynamite sled.
