When I was at summit point last year for 100 drifters of December there were a few FCs. They have grown on me since.

Been gone.

It's been a long time since I made a post, I'm still working on my RX7, I'm finally ready to pull the engine. I had to take some time to gather some parts due to the motor that I was going to rebuild turning out to be a piece of crap and not worth the money I paid, now I'm just pulling the motor out and seeing if there is anything I can salvage, I'm sure there will be because it ran fine until the motor seized, I think an apex seal let go but I have some new housings to use, I hope to get the motor out by tomorrow and will post some pics.

Pulling an engine is the scarier thing to have to do to me, as a novice to the maintenance scene. Hope you find a good amount of salvageable parts in there, it stinks it wasn't able to be rebuilt.

progress

The build was stalled but will be resuming in the next week or two, I didn't have a good place to work but i bought a house with a garage and now its back on, I'm trying to get it running within the next 2 months and start the body and interior. I want to be able to have it driving by our annual car show in July. Some pics to come.

My Ride

Greetings from Las Cruces (NM). My ride is a POS ("piece of stardust" just to keep the forum family-friendly) compared to yours. I'm jealous.

It's not quite there yet but it will be, I'm hopefully starting the engine tear down this week sometime.
