I'm new at this!
My husband, Jeff, and I just bought our first RX-7. It's a beautiful 1981. It is charcoal gray with red interior. I have a lot to learn.

But hey, you picked a great 1stgen RX-7 to own! There's plenty of info on this website and the 1stgen tech group is an intensely deeply thoughtful crowd that has literally "seen it all" when it comes to these cars. We have the GrassRootsMotorsports types, the SCCA racers, the road course racers, the simply-stock-and-clean folk and then the gearheads who've played with all aspects of these 1stgen cars simply because they were curious.
