Hi Topdog... I'm new to the forum as well (though I have lurked on and off) as I just picked up my first FD last week. I am super excited about the car as I have loved them since they came out in my college days.

Out of curiosity, how popular is the rx-7 in Japan? I would think its more common given it was made through 2002 I believe it was? How does it compare with other Japanese sports cars in Japan such as the 300z, 350z, s2000, supra etc. Is it more or less popular over there?

I don't think rx7s aren't that popular my opinion. 240s are more common over.

No don't have an rx7 but one of my good friends does. I'm more into 240s. I am planning on doing an rb swap in the near future whenever I get out of college.
