Hey Folks,
Currently, I am the owner of a nice 2007 VW GTI (15k miles). I've been looking to tighten my belt a bit in order to reduce my debt load, and I happened across a mint 1-owner 1990 FC with 88k miles.
My question is.. Can I make this car work as a daily driver for a few years? I have a pretty far commute, about 20 miles each way. I love the car, and I know with normal maintenance they are reliable as any.
Let me know if i'm crazy for wanting to make that jump.
