VA I have finally decided to join because I am getting an rx7 within the next year

So my story,

Well I am a college student first off so my story does not consist of much as of yet, but i can tell of how I first fell for the rx7. I first fell for the rx7 in middle school a little bit before the super craise (sp?) of Japanese cars spurred by fast and the furious. I saw one and loved how it sounded, and at the time the FD rx7 looks too.

As I got older I went through phases of liking ricers and muscle cars and had even almost bought a 1970 Mustang Mach 1. After missing my chance of getting my Mach 1 I continued to look for older mustangs and at cars in general. I again started to have my eyes fall on rx7s. Now since I am of the younger crowd I did really know the older FCs from any other sports car when I was that young, but this winter I had started to do my research and fell hard for the FC lines and my passion for the sound of the rx7 was rekindled. I also love the rotary engine in its theory and practice, I did my home work as it was fun to learn about a rare engine type for me as I wish to one day have a least a MS in mechanical engineering.

I cannot wait to have an FC and to start tuning it up and driving it as the sports car it is. I would be my second car so I am not worried about it being the most reliable car in the world so it will be fun to try some of the new ideas I have for forced induction.

Can't wait to buy an FC and love the wealth of information I have seen so far on the forum. Thank you in advanced for the warm welcome I am sure you will give me.

Hi there and welcome. I'm new to the forum, RX7s and to rotary engines. Anyway, best of luck in your studies. Out of curiosity, where are you enrolled at? I lived in Virginia Beach on and off for about 9 years.
