Hi, yes i have a miata

Hello

im josh from CT, The past 5 years i have been building my Miata, finaly finished it for the most part this year. I have always loved FD's and i have been thinking of parting out my car and picking up a nice FD for a new project. So i joined here cause every search i did would lead me here anyway. my car weighs 2180 lbs

could be lighter with some more work. the cage is way over built. All i could be at the time was 1.75x.095 DOM tube. 75% of the cage is made with that and the other 25% is 1.5x.095

when i had it tuned i was making 420 whp @ 18psi. i have it set to 20 psi now but havent dyno'd it again. Its a pretty radical car to drive. The drivetrain could be stronger, 02 6spd with a factory torsen rear end that i just blew up at the drag strip ( i think i sheared teeth from the ring and pinion ).

Should i part it out to buy a FD?

Nothing special to making power, more air more fuel, focus on the chassis first and learn to drive it under stock power

Do not part out the Miata nor sell it. Keep it and get a FD.

Welcome to the forum. I'm Ron.

Love this miata, glad to see another miata owner on here. I daily mine and then my FD is my toy.

I would keep that and get an FD if possible, like Ron said.

But if you do decide to part it, let me know, i may be interested in a few things
