Sucks to hear about your 7 man. .. honestly if you still have the parts I would keep them if you are looking for another 7.. Im in seattle and I know I can find the first gen NON RUNNING for like 300 plus in fair condition... and some run with issues its just finding them... I bought my TII for less than I see on any posing on the site and less than what you paid for you 1st gen so its posible.. any how keep it as parts and transfer over the 13b..

Hello

I am new to this forum stuff and I am having a hard time of it. I own a 1986 RX-7 GXL for 22 years now and live in NE Pa. I am the original owner and have had a lot of fun with this car, not in the winter though. My son learned how to drive a standard transmission with this car also. I racked up 184,000 miles on it with not to many problems, only one 4 wheel alignment which was not needed, and the water pump lasted 165,000 miles! I guess that says something for the design of the car
I enjoy flying RC aircraft and you cannot believe how much fits in this car, most of my fellow flyers cant believe what I bring to the flying field!
I just purchaced an 05 RX-8 Shinka which does not have the roon the RX-7 has but I will enjoy it. It took over the garage.
Any tips on new member info?

My fiance and I just bought another RX-7. It is my display picture. It is an 84 GSL-SE. she is the most amazing girl ever. You know you have found a keeper when she will help you buy a car, especially an RX-7.

my boy has a 88 fs

OUCH!!! Glad to see you are ok. That could have gone very bad. A friend and I flipped a first gen YEARS ago when we jumped it off of a one lane bridge at 90 mph (yes, it was intentional). We flew like the General Lee and when we landed the rear wheels broke off the studs and flew past us. The nose started running up the ditch and hit a huge rock and flipped us sideways twice. Luckily the car landed right side up. My head busted out the passenger side window; I had glass shards embedded in the back of my head and it bled like a ****. I was very lucky because I was wearing my seatbelt. Had I not been wearing it I believe I would have been thrown out of the car.
