Hi! I'm a new member. I have a 1991 RX7 (original owner) that unfortunately I may sell soon. I joined to learn more about what interests are out there and any advice on selling it.
Some advice would be to give basic info like mileage, title status and basic information. Big one will be compression test as well. Looks to be in great shape so more pictures would definitely be a must as well!
Welcome! Beautiful car! Unfortunate that you may have to sell it… let us know the miles and post some pictures! We would all love to see them and get more info on your car! It definitely looks in good shape, if it is well taken care of and looks as good as this picture shows you may want to consider putting it up on Bring a Trailer. It is good to post it here as well and give the rx7 enthusiasts dibs and I know there is the right buyer here for your car! Good luck!!!
I hope to place a classified on the forum as soon as I get access. In the meantime, here's some info about it:
Original owner (little old lady by name of Mom). Purchased brand new in 1991 in Upstate NY . Current mileage: 16,642. While in NY, it was only driven in summer months, garaged/stored rest of year. Shipped it to California 9 years ago. It's been driven on a somewhat regular basis in CA. Passed CA smog. Clean title. All original equipment, except recently lost one of the muffler tips and replaced. Also added connecter hardware for trickle battery charger for when it was stored. Color: Brilliant Black. Only small scratch on rear bumper. VIN: JM1FC3316M0903833. Let me know what you all think. It's a fun car for sure.
That is quite a special car with that low of miles, I am more focused on first gen prices since that’s what I own but I would think you car would bring a good 20-25k based off of recent auctions. I would definitely do more research though, I’m sure the rx7 forum will go crazy over such a low milage one. Good luck!!!
